SUMMARY:

The Youth Program Specialist is responsible for providing physical training and counseling to students in the program. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institution policy.

FUNCTIONS:

JOB OVERVIEW:
Transport cargo through the dock area to / from the trailers for loading to the trailers.

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Carry out cargo handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment including, but not limited to: forklift, pallet truck and hand truck
  2. Verify that the documentation matches the description of the cargo (e.g. type, weight, hazardous materials), using the current electronic or manual system
  3. Secure cargo inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, ropes)
