Speaking to ANI, Deputy Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering, Sadiq Bhatti, said: “The Jal Jeevan program was launched in 2012 and after nine years we are on the verge of completion. ‘finish. “” We have provided drinking water facilities to almost every city. “We asked and even fought with many officials but none of them listened to us. Finally, within the framework of this program, we will have clean water to drink,” she added.
A wave of happiness was also visible among the children in the block who previously had to stand in long lines for water.
“Now I can go to school peacefully, instead of standing in line to fill up with water. I was late for school and was punished, but now I’m happy that such a big problem has been solved, ”said Mohd Irfan, another resident. from Badok village, Kalakote boulder.
The people of the Kalakote block are happy, but they are also worried about the future.
